Byron Earl Hundley, Sr.

February 21, 1926 - December 10, 2012

Byron Earl Hundley, Sr. was born on February 21, 1926 in Richland County, Illinois, the son of James Volney and Maude (Lennen) Hundley. He married Barbara Jean Curtis on September 16, 1950. She preceded him in death on January 15, 1982. He later married Patsy (Stanley) Butler. She also precedes him in death.

Mr. Hundley was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in Korea. He was a farmer, a house mover, a truck driver, and operated Hundley Harley Davidson. Byron was also a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his son, Larry Hundley and wife Nancy of New Lenox, IL; son, Earl Hundley and wife Sandra of Logan, UT; daughter, Betty Jean King and husband Virgil of Albion, IL; son, Gary Dean Hundley and wife Teresa of Smyrna, TN; daughter, Vicki Lynne White and husband John of Noble, IL; daughter, Donna Baskin of Olney; stepson, Gene Butler and wife Gail of Louisville, IL; stepdaughter, Cathy Wilson of Ingraham, IL; stepdaughter, Linda Burkett of Ingraham, IL; stepdaughter, Ethel Adams and husband Steve of Louisville, IL; brother, William Hundley of Olney; sister, Beatrice Stanley of Georgetown, KY; 17 Grandchildren, 9 Step-Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren and 13 Step-Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, one stepson, one brother, two sisters, two grandchildren, one step-grandchild and one great great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
